Dress Code Violations

JEWELRY
• No body piercing jewelry anywhere other than the ear
• Boys one post earring in one ear only
• No chains of any kind
• Distracting jewelry or jewelry that may be a safety issue

ELECTRONIC DEVICES
• No electronic devices
• No cell phones
• No video games
• No computer games
• No radios
• No laser pointers
• No cameras

CLOTHING
• Clothing free of writing, pictures, symbols relating to alcohol, drugs, sexual connotations, profanity, violence, cults, gangs, prisons
• Bleached, frayed, ragged or patched clothing
• Pants, including shorts and skirts must be worn at the waist
• See through material
• Short shirts that show one’s mid-section, shoulder, or cleavage prohibited
• Frayed, cut-offs, spandex, mesh shorts, jogging shorts
• Floor length clothing
• Any part of a military uniform or camouflaged clothing/article
• Shoes without socks
• Outdoor clothing in classrooms(hats, gloves, coats)
• Writing on back of pants, shorts, jogging pants, etc.
• Shorts not secured to waist, see through shorts, spandex, gym shorts, biker shorts, shorts with writing on the back

BOOK BAGS
• Gym bags
• Backpacks

BUTTONS
• Buttons/badges or other items with obscene or offensive words, phrases, or illustrations
• Patches worn in an obscene or offensive manner

HAIR STYLES
• Call undue attention or obstruct vision
• Extend below dress shirt collar for males
• Sideburns that extend beyond the bottom of the ear
• Facial hair (beards, mustaches, goatees
