Parent Input on Federal Programs

The Girard City School District welcomes and encourages parent input with regard to our federal programs and federal funds. Several times throughout the year, we invite parents and other community members to participate in meetings, learn more about building programs/curriculum and the federal funds the district receives, and provide input into the programs and the utilization of funds.

The District receives funding for the following programs:

· Title 1
· Title II-A
· Title II-D (Technology)
· Title III (Limited English Proficient)
· Title IV-A (Safe and Drug-Free Schools)
· Title V (Innovative Programs)
· IDEA, Special Education

On June 19, 2008, we will hold the first parent/community meeting regarding federal programs and federal funds for the 2008-09 school year.

This meeting will also be in the Administrative offices. It will be held at 3:00 p.m
