Our mission is to educate, help, support, and direct students away from alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use and toward a healthy safe, and drug-free life.
The objectives and goals of the Girard Parent Leadership Group are:
-To support the school district in guiding students to exemplary citizenship, character and integrity.
-To promote healthy choices concerning the use of substance, emphasizing the elimination of illegal use, high risk behavior, harmful use and related violence.
-To provide programs that develop the students’ abilities to rely on inner resources, skills and experiences as they relate to peers, school and community.
-To provide ways to recognize and resist peer pressure.
